Role Description:We are currently looking for and experienced C#/Java developer with strong knowledge on Mobile application development and MS SQL-Server DBMS skills. Additionally will have experience on intelligent sensors (Rfid; NFC; iBeacon) and Internet communication protocols.
As Expert Researcher/Developer will be involved in IoT’s (Internet of Things) research projects and development of prototype and applications as well as mobile development (Android; Windows Phone; iOS) and will be part of a dynamic and innovative research team within a fast growing company that will enrich your technical expertise and business processes knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:
• Analysis, design, and development of applications using Microsoft-based technologies.
• Estimating, designing and building Mobile application solutions on leading Mobile OS.
• Providing guidance and mentorship to less experienced resources.
• Prototype support activities including installation and configuration of implemented solutions to clients, answering client questions, providing data results, analyzing problems, discussing issues with clients, resolving issues, documentation and providing work estimates.
• Meeting support and enhancement deadlines.
• Ensuring deliverables meet quality assurance expectations.
• Managing workload and escalating issues as appropriate.
• Handling multiple support and enhancement activities concurrently.
• Proactively providing ideas and solutions towards improvements to systems and processes, and keeping team members, clients and managers up-to-date on status and issues.

Qualification and Skills:
• 2-5 years of development experience mainly focused in Microsoft technologies. Experience is to be focused in areas such as C#, MS SQL Server, Azure.
• Additional experience and knowledge on Mobile application development (Android; Windows Phone; iOS)
• A previous Experience on RF Sensors (RFID; NFC; etc) and related communication protocols will be considered a must
• Experienced in writing database queries and stored procedures.
• Practical experience in software design and development methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile).
• Proficient in software development and configuration management tools and processes (e.g. Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server; Eclipse ADT).
• Experienced in technical testing, unit test scripting, and testing processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Italian and English.
• Very organized and able to work independently.
• Preference for Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Previous experiences in research field will be considered a must.

Travel:
The activity is supposed to be mainly onsite. However travel activities should be considered between 0%-30% of working time.
