Who we are?

seedstars World is an initiative launched by seedstars SA, a Swiss-based company which launches ideas, grows start-ups and builds companies.

What we do?

seedstars world is an exclusive worldwide competition to discover the 20 best startups in emerging and fast growing cities. Our team is on the road since March 2013 till December 2013 to organize pitching events and select high quality start-ups who will compete along with the others at our international and worldwide event in February 2014 in Geneva, Switzerland.

Our next edition (SSW2014) is scheduled from March 2014 till August 2014 but expect to start working with us earlier (i.e. the sooner the better but mid october 2013 would be great).

With us you will:

Travel around the world in emerging countries (all inclusive!)

Organize a worldwide event with great visibility

Meet amazing startups, entrepreneurs, investors and people around the world

Start-up Scout job description:

Prepare and shape the 2014 edition, select the countries

Travel the world for 6 months

Organize pitching events in various cities in the world

Get in touch and build relationships with regional partners (accelerators, incubators, embassies, entrepreneurs, etc.)

Put together a world class jury in each cities

Be part of the jury and select the best start-ups

Take part in a life changing experience

Skills

English native or at a professional level

French and German are a plus

A passion for start-ups, web/tech industry and entrepreneurship

A burning desire to travel the world and change it

Good knowledge of HTML and WP

Video editing is a plus
